Are all OEM's required to support this API?  Is there some sort of Pocket PC

Finally, will this API return a unque device ID?
If not, is there a standard/recommended method for determining a unique

As Smartphone doesn't support MFC (lesson learnt the hard way) I've rejigged
my data store library to use STL.  ie Lots of changing CPtrList to list<void
