How many digits are PocketPPC 2003 Device ID???

hi to everybody...
i've got problem with using of CColorDialog in eVC 4.0 (SP 4)
the code is:
CColorDialog dlg;

1 - I`m trying to make the pocketpc and the desktop computer communicate; ie,
data transfer. However, I think, firstly I (desktop application) must detect
the bluetooth device to communicate.
Could someone help me?

I make a cab for installation on PocketPC 2003.
But in a device based on PPC 2003 SE system will prompt "This program has
been designed for previsous version and may not run in the device." after

I am writing an application which opens a serial port which attaches to a
modem (SIM card). The problem is I do not know which serial port it uses. I
checked registry and still have no clue. Any body knows how to solve this
problem?

EVB 3.0  on a iPaq with a digital caliper; Comm port via CF card by  Socket.
I have to ask for a read two or three times prior to the data refreshing
with the new caliper reading.
