I've developed my own applications. Now I wonder how to write a desktop application that installs my app on the device? I don't want to use RAPI, so I thought I might use ActiveSync ( or is it called Application Manager), like many other application do.

I have some issues with opening the bluetooth serial port on this iPaq, it's connected to a GPS unit. If the GPS unit is on then all the code works just fine. However if the GPS is not on then CreateFile returns what appears to be a valid handle
