  i have application that is supposed to be installed in Pocket PC
2003 Phone edition. i need to try it in another pc that has no VS2003
installed on it. my question is: is it possible to install deploy my
application in PPC2003 phone ed emulator without installing VS2003?

If the calendar already in the background, an hour glass appears and the
calendar never switch to the forground calendar

I'm trying to send data between Pocket PCs and W2K and not having any success.
I need to exchange keys between the two.  I have programs on both platforms
that creates key blobs.  When I copy them from one platform to another, they
fail.  The basic operation on both sides is:

I have an application, built with eVC3, use cabwiz.exe to build a CAB
file for ARM architecture and then ezsetup.exe to create an exe
wrapper to install the app. When deinstalling the application, the
shortcut stays on the device. I can delete it manually without any

the following code is taken from thecodeproject.com but it just gets the
first letter instead of the whole text. Maybe someone can tell me why.

if there is a way to get the PocketPC Device serial number not by using
core.dll but from code, i don't want hackers to overlap core.dll and hack

I'd like to inquire about jpeg support in the CF2. In the CF1 it was
possible to read, but not write, a jpeg. According to

is the incompatible resolution in the resource editor of eVC3 and the
PDA. The PDA has 320x240 pixels but in the resource editor I have to use
1??x160. Why is this so? Why can't I create controls that fit both ...
