I recently bought a WM5 device. As this is my first that supports landscape mode I started to adapt my programs so they are compatible to that. Now I'm thinking a step further; As I believe to know, programs that don't identify themselves to Win as VGA

I'm wriing a small application for my Pocket PC for uploading files directly from the PPC to my FTP server. The PPC has no WLAN-card or any other connection to the internet, so I want to use the connection over the ActiveSync cable.

Sometimes the backlight of my PocketPC goes nuts after using TomTom Navigator. It seems like TomTom sets the index of the "Turn off backlight after XX minutes of inactivity" combobox to -1, i.e. nothing is selected in the box...

Is there a command that will tell you what background color is currently being used on a PPC 2003 or CE 4.20 window? I've found that PPC uses a lighter-color (COLOR_WINDOW) than CE (COLOR_3DFACE), so an app I'm writing ends up looking a little screwy
