It is known that IPAQ devices come with IPAQUTIL.DLL that lets you access some good hardware functionality, like control WiFi adapter, obtain device ID e.t.c I want to know if any other manufacturers provide such libraries or SDKs?

In my understanding, Windows OS for device is divided into two sub-categories, Windows Mobile and Window Embedded. And in Window Mobile, there are two sub-categories, Window Mobile Pocket PC Edition and Windows Mobile Smart Phone Edition.

I have one appliaction which is meant for PocketPC devices. the GUI which i have made runs fine in an some versions of IPAQ(hp iPAQhx2410, hp iPAQ h6365, hp iPAQhw6965 etc.... ), which has got 240 X 320 pixel size and OS version is winCE4.21.

We are deploying programs as CAB files to remote (non technical) users of PDA's (Windows Mobile 5). We have a script running on the device which installs the CAB file using wceload.exe, but the install prompts you for the target folder, etc. we want the install to be automatic so

Is there a way to channel sound to the ear piece of a Pocket PC phone such as a PPC 6700? I can get sound to the speaker or plug-in headset, but I cannot get sound to the phone ear piece. I am especially intereseted in WM5 based phones.
