When I migrated my project from evc 4.0 to visual studio 2005 I ran
into
numerous warnings.

We have an ActiveSync Service Provider that synchronizes our desktop
appointments database to the Outlook appointments on Pocket PC 2003.
The synchronization does not work any more for Mobile 5 and 6 devices.
Here are details:

For an existing ASP.Net v1.1 application that is accessed over HTTPS
can this be used by a Windows Mobile device? If not what changes are
normally required in the application and on the server?

i need to figure out if a windows mobile 2005 device has a camera or
not? is there a direct api to check for camera availability? Although
i know u can always find it out from the registry but an api would
always be better.

is there any way to delete notification icon which has not classid ? I mean:
some default system's notificitaion. like gprs connection or missed phone
call?
I saw some tutorial, how to delete the low battery notification icon, but

I'm trying to decide what would be the best way to store my Pocket PC
application settings. My first choice is the registry, but I'm worried about
the security policy and read/write access since I'm not sure if my app will
be signed (initially).

After installing IE7 today, the"start menu" will not pisplay. Made multiple
attempts using the "task bar and start menu properties" display. Any ideas?

I want to simulate a Bluetooth GPS Device.
I have 2 PocketPC-devices, one should be the Bluetooth Client (which will
connect using serial port), and the other should be the bluetooth server.
I know I could use the IntheHand Bluetooth Server class, which is great. But

I just purchased Streets and Trips 2008. Can I use it with my Dell Axim 50
PDA or do I have to return it? Appreciate any info provided. This is the
first time I have considered this product.

Is anybody made the HTTPD server worked on a WM 6 machine ? I
installed it like I did since 100 years, but when I issue a http://localhost
or http://127.0.0.1, the phone always try to connect to the Internet
instead of showing the local web page. The installation worked fine,

I recently posted the below on a different forum, but was adivsed to
try this form for a way to  programmaticly alter the volume of the

How can i find out programmatically if a Win Mobile phone, my application is
running on, has support for WiFi?
