hi i have the Orange SPV and wanted to upgrade it to SPV 2003, the version
that comes with E200.  Is that possible?  i tried running the upgrade but it
always hangs.

   I'm new in developing the smartphone application.
   I have installed smartphone SDK, VS.NET (VB.NET & VC++.NET), and
smartphone emulator.

I am a VB6 Developer with an SPV E200.  Im just moving into dotNet
development and am trying to write a test app for my phone.  I start VS.Net
& create a Smart Device Application.  I then get a screen asking to select
target platform.  The two choices I have are Windows CE or Pocket ...

Is it possible to upgrade this phone? Has anyone done it? If so, where did
you get the upgrade from?

Does WAVEFORMAT_MIDI_MESSAGE actually work? and i don't mean for
generating dial tones, i mean for playing midi files.
I have spent the past few days learning about the midi file format and
now know far more than any man show know about it.....

I'm having trouble getting MIDI to work on Smartphone 2002, even though I'm
just using the code sample defined in the SDK documentation at
"WAVEFORMAT_MIDI_MESSAGE".
