Currently, I'm working on a WinCE.net  4.2 platform. I want to connect my
Bluetooth module to this platform via a UART interface. When I set module's
HCI transport mode to H4 mode(with hardware flow control), everything is OK.
But when I set module to BCSP mode and enable BTD_CSR to ...

   I have some problem to manage the volume (of the
speakers) of smartphone and Pocket PC. Could you help
with en example or explanation how to code (which object
or function) my program to control the device volume?

I want to know whether Windows Media Player on SmartPhone 2003 can play SMIL files. (I mean real SMIL file not those used by servers as playlists.)
If media player can not play SMIL, is it possible to write a basic SMIL player for SmartPhone 2003 ?

No home screen layouts can be found.Install a valid home screen layout and
then select it using the Home Screen item in Settings.

Is there something like a systray in Smartphone 2003?
For example, the battery message at the top, signal strength,etc.  Can

I installed eVC4.0 and SMARTPHONE 2003 SDK.
When I tried to build and run Gapiapp for the emulator, the eVC produced the

1. Where can i find information about VAIL and TUI, part of WinCE 4.2. I
have read thru the documentation that comes with msdn. Are there any other
sources of info?
2. Are there any commercial implementations of VAIL and TUI?

I'm beginner in programming for smartphones so have some questions:)

From our applicatoin, we have to be able to browsse throuhg the phoes

I know that in Smartphone 2003 I can register a dll with tmail.exe and
have a method called when a new sms arrives.
However, I'd like to be called when anything happens to a particular
folder. A change in read status, a message deleted etc.
