I want to know whether Windows Media Player on SmartPhone 2003 can play SMIL files. (I mean real SMIL file not those used by servers as playlists.) If media player can not play SMIL, is it possible to write a basic SMIL player for SmartPhone 2003 ? Thanks.

I know that in Smartphone 2003 I can register a dll with tmail.exe and have a method called when a new sms arrives. However, I'd like to be called when anything happens to a particular folder. A change in read status, a message deleted etc.
