I'm going to use .net for developing winforms on a pda or other hand held
device and have a fat client with sql server ce on it and sync up to sql
server on a main server. any GOOD easy to read books on this subject. I'm
very experienced with .net on web forms.

If I have a cab file ready for deployment to a smartphone device, and I want
to offer the ability for users to install this in an automated fashion, such
as running a Windows exe file which deploys and installs through active
sync, what must I do to acomplish this?

How can i access the internal GSM modem to make a data (not gprs) connection
to a remote modem and exchange data?.

there is no document and sample in DXPAK.

I have built a multi-form application for Pocket PC using C# and now I would
like to get it running on a Smart Phone. I guess from looking at some basic
information on Smartphones that there is no chance of porting.
Is this the case, can I port, or would I be rewriting totally?

Why I can't run the C# bluetooth program into smartphone.
When I compail, I have no problems.... but when I tried
to run it.  It says, deployment error.

Where can I find the contacts in a Smartphone using RAPI from my desktop. I
have tried to the access databases on the device but I only find \PMAILDB2
and \PMAILDB and none seems to contain any contacts information.

I've written a fairly large Windows Forms app and wish to implement a subset
of it on the SmartPhone 2003 platform (dev machine is an SPV-E200).
Is it possible to install or use the Smartphone 2003 SDK without Visual
Studio?

i've installed service pack 4 for evc4 and now my remote tools won't work
after running spdps.  there is a comment in the release notes for service
pack 4:

Can anyone point how to start an application in evc4 that must get a jpeg
