Does anyone know how one can open an USB connection as a virtual COM port?

I am trying to write a program that is beeing started in Init, it has

I am trying to use the CSP (Configuration Service Providers) in my
application to read information from the handset and to set them (using
DMProcessConfigXML).
It works well on most of the smartphones but I have just tried it on a phone

I'm writing an application which will require access to some priviliged
APIs. I have however not been able to sign my application with a
certificate which either the emulator or an actual device trusts
(CeGetCurrentTrust() returns OEM_CERTIFY_RUN and the priviliged APIs fail).

I'd like to write 2 applications for my SMT 5600:
1. implement 'auto key lock' feature. The keypad should lock automatically
after the phone is idle for a few seconds. Currently I've to manually lock
it after every call.
