I am trying to create an app to read all the SMS's in the SMS Folders on the SmartPhone 2003, so that I can create a backup of my SMS's. I have found some useful articles on MSDN but I cannot find and decent C# implementations.

There seems to be very few real working examples for Sending / Receiving SMS text messages using eVC++ 4.2 or for PocketPC. I found Douglas Boling's SMSTalk in his book, but unfortunately the code compiles but does not work.

I have noticed the following behaviour using an "EDIT" window in multitap mode on a SPV C500. I enter several characters and I press on the joystick just after the last one (before multitap timeout). This generates an unwanted space.

I'm trying to find a clean way to uninstall our product during an unattended software upgrade. Have to uninstall old version before invoking wceload.exe with new cab. I have not found unload.exe on the phone so have ruled out invoking it.
