Smartphone 2003 Startup Icons Where?22 Jul 2004 21:55 GMT5
I've been trying to rearrange my newly upgraded i600 and cannot find
where the icons corresponding to PocketIE, ActiveSync, and several
others are located. I look in the Start folder and they are not there
although opening the phone, they are in the start menu. I had

Has anyone successfully, used VPN to log into their
corporate system ( Cisco 3000) with an ace sever. And use
OMA on the Exchange server to retrieve any outlook items?
Registry22 Jul 2004 17:08 GMT2
I downloaded a registry editor recently and have begun my effort to tweak
certain settings on my phone this way.  Does anyone have a comprehensive
list of the keys/potential values out there?
I'm particularly interested in removing the sound when the phone turns
Lock on i60022 Jul 2004 16:44 GMT2
Ever since I can remember, there's been a little padlock image on the bar at
the very top of my i600, which has always been unlocked.  Does anyone know
what this represents?  When I "lock" the phone to keypresses or outgoing
calls, it never seems to change.
Custom ring tones don't work22 Jul 2004 15:49 GMT6
I assigned a ring tone to my wife's contact listing and when she calls me,
it does indeed say her name (proving that it finds the contact) but it does
not use the ringtone I specified.  I checked the file and it is a valid tone
(works fine as a standard tone).

Just update my phone.  Everything works great.  Takes a
long time to boot after the upgrade completes.
Unlockin Phone22 Jul 2004 13:22 GMT1
When an MPX200 is upgraded to 2003 OS, does this unlock
the phone since it wipes the physical memory?  Just
curious, I can't seem to find an answer.

WMA Editing?22 Jul 2004 13:20 GMT2
Two questions relative to the fact that we can now use WMA's as ringtones
with the SP 2003 upgrade.
1.)  Is there anyway to convert an MP3 file to a WMA file?
2.)  Is there any simple/free way to edit WMA files (i.e. take only the
i600 upgrade to 2003 and caller ID22 Jul 2004 03:27 GMT8
I am thinking of upgrading my phone to smartphone 2003. However I am
concerned about the Caller ID feature in 2003. With the fix, my 2002 works
well enough. On the external LCD I get the phone number and when I flip it
open it shows the contact information immediately.
Ringtone Conversion Program?21 Jul 2004 22:49 GMT6

WM2003 upgrade, can't connect to Exchange 5.5 server anymore...21 Jul 2004 22:30 GMT7
Since upgrading my i600 I find I can't connect to our Exchange 5.5 server
anymore.  I know they want everyone to upgrade everything to the lastest MS
version so as to keep their cashflow moving but I certainly hope they are
not dropping support for Exchange 5.5 connectivity with ...

A week ago I have bought an iMate. It has Windows Mobile 2003. I have
