I'd like to create a webpage that can write to a file on the
persistant data storage.  I know I cannot do it through the internet
due to security risk, this webpage will be stored locally only.  On

What's the deal with Windows Live on WM? Every couple of months I lose the

I got the HTC Touch Viva (Win Mobile 6.1).
However, when I sign into the live messenger, none of my messenger contacts
show up in the list. The list is empty!
Also, I couldn't sync my outlook with the phone due to a malfuct. CD that

Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Sounds & Notifications.
Tap the Notifications tab.
In the Event field, scroll to and tap Messaging: New text message.
How do I turn off data roaming prompt18 Dec 2008 21:36 GMT-
I have a Win Mo device with 6.1 that syncs with an Exchange server. I spend
a lot of time roaming. Every time I try to send/receive it prompts me that I
am roaming and might incur extra charges.
I got it after the first 300 times, now it is annoying the hell out of me.

In Windows Live Messenger (on the desktop) you have the possibility to allow
all contacts. They have not be accepted.
On my Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone (HTC Touch Dual/Nike) this feature is
not available. Is there any way to turn this on? I want to allow all contact

I am trying to sync my email etc with my WM 6.1 device to exchange server 2003
I get an error message of "support code 0x80072f17" and does not get any email
we have a self certified certificate
I am able to connect ok using and iPod touch

For some reason active sync will not sync old contacts from phone to outlook
2003. If I add a new contact it works fine.

I just bought a new phone with Windows Mobile 6.1 on it and when I try to
search using the live search toolbar I am sent to a results page that is in
French. I need help changing the language settings. Thanks.
