I'm trying to get my image (which I can download using EBOOT.bin and runs just fine) to boot on its own and have followed some good advice on this forum by trying to make it work first with LOADCEPC, then try to get it working with a bootloader.

I have a USB device with a driver which enumerates the USB descriptors to the PC when connected. I would like to force this the device to re-enumerate programmatically at run time from another application. The CM_...() functions of Windows are not available on CE to do this.

My development board is Intel PXA25x. Which BSP should I select for that in PB 5.0? I selected "Intel PXA27x Dev Platform:ARMV4I". When I try to download the image on the board, I see following output on my hyperterminal.

I have been trying to bring up the LAN (82541GI) on the ICH4 on a Pentium M system with 4.2 using the E1000CE4.dll file downloaded from the Intel site. The system hangs on 'int 3' during initialization. Has anyone been able to get the 82541GI to come up under 4.2?

Is the evaluation version of Platform Builder 3.0 available anywhere? The device we are currently working with is running CE 3.x, and it doesn't seem that Platform Builder 4.2 or 5.0 are suitable for our needs.

I was able to successfully boot from a floppy using the specialized eboot.bin file provided in my 3rd party BSP (VIA EPIA ME6000 micro-ITX board) and then download an OS image created to my specifications using platform builder.

When trying to connect a Mainstone II using CE 5.0 and USB to a WinXP host via ActiveSync, it fails to get past 'Connecting' stage on the host PC. The CE device says it's connected. The host PC recognizes the USB device as a 'CE device', and gives the happy tone on connect.
