In display driver,which function will call GPE::DrvEscape?
is it DrvEscape? Then which function will call DrvEscape? Is it ExtEscape?
what is the relations between them?

I am new to this group and new to Windows CE BSP 5.0 development. I am
developing a display driver for a ARM based processor.
I want know if I make some changes to the sources (.cpp and .h files)
in my driver, do I need to rebuild (BuildOS->Build and Sysgen) the

I just got my new hardware working with a USB pen drive and find that
the detection of the device (or actually adding the device so it can be
used) is tediously slow. It takes about 1-2 minutes before the drive
can be used.

 i found that the touch and audio drivers mainstone 2 bsp in pb5.0, has
their own ac97 control code in it. they are working on their own and not
aware of the other driver is accessing the ac97 link too. so in my case,
after audio driver is loaded, the touch panel driver re-init ...

Anyone know if the ISLP2 driver in PB has a chance at working with a PCI
802.11 card based on one of the Intersil Prism chip sets?  The registry
entries that come with the existing driver are for a PC Card, I've mangled
them to work on PCI but without complete success.  Driver loads ...

 I find that SCardStatus can work well in windows ce.net system(4.2). But It
fails when I use it in Smart Card Redirection mode of RDP. I mean that
SCardStatus of windows 2003 server operation system may fail when it works in
above way.

I have a WinCE 5.0 system.
System can enter the sleep (suspend) mode, but when system can not wake up.
After I trace the codes, I found systems will hang up in sleep(10) of
SetVideoPowerState.

How can I make Windows CE detect a hard disk connected to the second IDE
as Slave? If I connect it as MASTER it is detected. The hardware is an
embedded
PC.

Could someone pls point me. Where I can  find information on howto

I have a PRISM 2.5 chipset and a wlan network card connected to a win
ce 4.2 target platform. During boot the driver for the wlan is loaded
and the network adapter is found:

Does sombody know why the Kernel Tracker does not appair in the tools menu
of pb3.0 ?. The "Cofigure Remote Services" dialog has "Data Visualization
Tools" disabled too. I.e. it is not possible to select a transport.
I suppose this is comming because it is not compatible with PB5 ...

    Pls tell me whether Mricsoft provide GWES sourcer code and where they
are?
