I have problems booting CE on our own hardware IXP422 64MB RAM CE 5.0 I have
the latest BSP from Intel installed
I get the following Messages on my terminal programm:

I got these messages form HyperTerminal and halt(maybe, I guess,for I can't
get any messages at all).as normal,we should see a boot menu.

Our platform is a USB host and we have been experiencing problems with
IssueBulkTransfer() when requesting a bulk in or out transfer of 1K or more
in the drivers we are developing for a device. The problem is the same in CE
3.0 and 4.2 -we have not tried 5.0 yet.

Just started using WinCE 5.0.
Am trying to download and setup a thin client/CEPC on a desktop PC. I
have tried via the serial port as well as the ethernet port without any
luck.

I am using a Sandgate board (PXA255 based).  I understand that the legacy
driver from the Sandgate board can be migrated to Win CE 5.0 from 4.2
because the legacy compatibility layer provides support for those drivers.
The problem is I don't understand what linking needs to occur to ...

I think I've found a nasty bug in the file server package for CE 4.2.  I
have an application that uses two CEPC systems that are linked together via
Ethernet.  System A is set up with the file server to share its Compact
Flash drive.  System B connects to the file server via "net ...

Now I modify the 91c96 nic driver in smsc netsite to my platform in CE4.2.
The init is passed, but the packets driver receives alwayls misses data,such
as status word/packetarrange or other data, so driver thinks it as bad
packet

I have asked a board supplier if they intend creating a CE5 BSP
They have a 4.2 BSP
Board is a headless XScale system.
Their reply is:

I tried to boot the Win CE5.0 (evaluation version) runtime image to the
target board. The runtime image is download through serial port. The debug

We have a headless XScale-based device running Windows CE 4.1.  Our PC
application communicates with an application on the device using SOAP: the
PC is the client and the device is the server.  The PC regularly (every
second or so) calls a routine on the device to retrieve data ...

   I added component "Print Server" in ce4.2(WBT),but when I print through
the printer connected with the WBT,it doesn't work.why?

In creating a simple build (CE5/x86,Internet Appliance/All defaults) when I
build I get the following towards the end:
I assume that I have a corrupt installation so reinstall required.
(Q) Any simple solutions to avoid reinstallation?
