I've been looking into how to add a new codec to Windows CE, to support
the decoding of an audio format. The obvious way to do this seems to be
to add an ACM (Audio Compression Manager) driver dll. Is this the best
way to do it or should I be considering any other options?

I am using PB 5.0 , CEPC and HP LaserJet 1320. I am trying to print over USB
cable. Printing with parallel port works fine.
Catalog items USB Printer Class Driver, USB Host Controller and PCL Printer
Driver are included.

I wonder if is possible by the CLA and EULA to include a GPL coprtion of
code into the WinCE platform builder sources to generate a NK.bin image.

Is there any SDK release for WinCE 5.0 version. I need to build a USB driver
using WinCE 5.0 libraries in eVC++ 4.0.  If I select standard SDK 4.2 during
compilation i get linking errors. Where as the same project works fine with
WinCE 4.2 libraries.

i just built ramdisk driver on WCE5.0, trying to load it on x86 emulator. The ramdisk.dll loads fine, i can see RAMdisk as a disk in Storage Manager, however, it is not mounted (FATFS) with following error:

When we install our device driver (i.e. double click on the  .CAB file) on a
hand held that is running CE version 4.21,  a pop-up window comes up
complaining that  the driver was built for an older version of Windows. Such
a warning does not occur for PPCs on version 4.20.

 I have created a new driver DLL as described in the MSDN, using driver
wizard. The driver compiles OK and works.
 After I added a call to OALPAtoVA (), and built the project, I am
getting the messages: error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol OALPAtoVA

I need to set my target device to PPC 2003 in platform builder 5.0. Anyone
know how to do this??

I searched this group and came upon a post with the subject,

I am trying to get my CEPC image to detect my HDD, I have a FAT16
