Managing a student lab.
Have CD version of CE5 PB.
If you copy all CD contents (cabs mainly) to the one directory, when you
install, after using the first CD's content, it asks for the second CD rather

During startup when I download the boot image from PB I get a series of
messages like the one below all from device 0101 with different func
numbers. We do not have and OEM code of our own loading at this point.
If I ignore the messages and download our app it runs fine and

I am using a CISCO Aironet 350 Pcmcia card using the standard driver that
comes with platform builder 4.2. When my device boots up, I insert the card
and CISCO1 Zero Config Dialog pops up and I config my access point fine in
the dialog and it connects and I get a valid IP address ...

1) Why is Remote Admin called that some places, but called Remote
Configuration in MSDN and in some blogs?  Are they two different things?  
They don't seem to be.
2) I have WinCE 5.0 PB with a Logic PD ARM 922T, using KITL download.  I am

 i am integrating msystem's bdk driver to my eboot. and adding it just kill
my eboot.
i suspect it is the code size or stack overflow... few years ago i worked

I have built an SDK for my device which includes support for the.NET CF. I
have installed the SDK on my workstation.
If I develop an application in eVC the device appears in the list of
platforms. However the device does not appear in the list of WindowsCE

Hi, does anybody know if it is possible to copy Registry (hive Files )
to another device ? The other device runs the same wince image and
Hardware. I tried this and somethimes the registry files were written
new or the device does not function well. Any Ideas?

One of my clients asked me to give him some data about real-time performance
of WINCE. I searched help and msdn, but found only few articles about this.
From them I only got some blur and uncertain data. It seems that Microsoft

ethernet, but failed when kernal debug enabled. My lan card is RIL8139. The

I want to create a wince OS based on XScale BSP provided In Platform Builder
5.0 to my PXA270 device. It seems that the BSP is designed for ARM V4I, but
I know the XScale is based on ARM V5T core. Does the BSP work right?
