anyone have it work in ce 5.0? it return null pointer for me when i try to get the frame buffer pointer. but the same code works fine in 4.2 is it discontinued or replaced?

Does Windows CE.NET 4.2 Platform Builder generate native code for the Intel PXA255 i.e. does it make use of the ARM V5TE instruction set? Or does it only generate ARM V4 or ARM V4T native code? If not, can Windows CE.NET 5.0 generate ARM V5TE native code for this

I understand that when doing a ship build it "removes" the RETAILMSG. Why the distinction between a retail build and a ship build when there is also a debug build? Or just giving another level "sifting" out process/debug information?

After I installed VS 2005 Beta 2 and WM 2005 SDKs/emulators, my existing PB 5.0 fails to run images under emulation (this appears to be by design, in fact I have seen instructions to uninstall PB entirely).
