Does anyone know how to get the physical flash block size from a Compact
Flash card?
Without knowing the card manufacturer/flash/controller (etc) is there any
way of enquiring this information from the card?

I am struggling in writing a device driver for multifunctional pcmcia device.
It has two functions:
  - function-1 is a uart, which uses IO (8 bytes) only
  - function-2 is a USB host uses both IO (32 bytes) and memory (2k bytes)
