 I am writing a Variable Tick scheduler for x86 emulator of windows CE 5.0,
and I have found that in the file
"WINCE500/PLATFORM/COMMON/SRC/COMMON/TIMER/VARTICK/vartick.c"£¬ there is a
function with the signature "VOID OALTimerUpdateRescheduleTime(DWORD

   I am using x86 CEPC.
My HardDisk is MountAsRoot, so I can see "nk.bin" in the Root
directory.
But "nk.bin" can be deleted by any delete command.

I have build a platform and an SDK from the same configuration/sources
in Platform Builder.
I have installed the SDK and selected it in EVC++.
When I try to debug an application, I  get the question "The targeted

Which is the highest buadrate that can be supported in Serial driver. I have
seen that some standard serial applications (like hyper terminal or Tera Term
)in windows having option till 115200 or 921600 for baudrate.
I think baudrate depends on the capability of the underlying ...

I am building the sdk from a custom os build.  I have built many times the OS
in debug and release.  I also have build the headers.  Howerver, I cannot get
rid of the following error.

Iam using PXA270 processor working with wince 5.0.
We are trying to use FFUART as COM1 port when the OS image is loaded and as
debug port during the bootup. We are able to block the debug serial port
initialisation after the OEMLaunch by stopping the debugserialport

Hi All experts out there...
Normally I see startup offset at 1000hex, but for my NK.bin, the
startup offsets at 2000hex.
Any suggestion where went wrong?

Mapped File Section 0 - Why OS consumes memory there?16 Jan 2007 01:40 GMT1
CESH for WinCE 3.0 provides a memory information dislplay command "mi".
It shows at the conclusion of OS boot that 16-Mbytes are committed to
the "Mapped File Section 0".  Does anyone know why the OS/Kernel
consumes memory in that space?

I am wondering some ways to debug Data or Prefetch aborts while KITL is
not available.
The problem?  The Prefetch Abort occurs in my user ethernet driver
(91C111).  If I run KITL over debug ethernet, obviously I cannot use

Hello to all NG.
Searching about WPA2 protection in CE 5.0 I've found that November 2005
QFE has installed WPA2 support to system. I've downloaded and installed
that QFE, rebuilt my image, but on standard "Wireless Information"

As we known, every QFE have different packet for different CPU. My questions

Is there any order to install these packet ? In other words, if I install

I'm seeing a problem where RelFSD will fail to load a file from the desktop
and it never completes or reports a failure. It looks like all the registry
settings are correct and I've turned off the Windows Firewall to see if that
