I built WinCE 5.0 image based on VIA BSP for WinCE 5.0 at VIA C3 board
(use CLE266 graphic chipset, shared video memory 32MB).
and I had test video playback which encoded WMV9 format.

I migrated my 4.2 bsp to 5.0...
My target boots perfectly in release version where i enabled the kitl and
kernel debugger for debugging reasons...

hi, i am new to this windows embedded ce6.0. i installed visual studio2005
and sp1,
then installed windows embedded ce 6.0, and platform builder 6.0sp1, and
emulator builder 2.0...

Should WinCE Image boot from eboot , can we use uboot or other loader ?
I've researched some BSP that eboot can load by uboot or replace uboot , but
can we use other loader for WinCE Image directly ?

I have a WinCE 5.00 OS with IPSM 4.0 set up with Hive Registry, does anyone
know how to stop the OS from backing up the Registry on a cold boot.  I
believe that it is doing a RegFlushKey when it update the BootCount in the
