I hava a Ebox, which is a embedded x86 system. I have build a WinCE 5.0 image
for it. Now I wan't to install a USB wireless card driver onto it. I intended
to connect this Ebox with PC using COM, and run the setup.exe, just like what
I did when I install the driver to Pocket PC. ...

Is SystemIdleTimerReset called automatically when there is system activity,
eg media player is playing a file.
Is there a way to disable this call by setting some register like
NoIdleTimerReset or something for eg to a backlight driver?

I have added a modem to my image (ExtModem reg. key) on COM2.
If I try to configure a dialup connection, it seems configured correctly.
But when I try to do the connection, it tell me the port is already in use.
I'm sure that COM2 is free.

I'm writing a little application with MS VC++ 4.0 for PocketPC 2003. The PDA
in question is an HP IPAQ 2200. I need to send a couple of character strings
through the serial cable.
I already have the code to do that, except I don't know how to test it.

 I'd like to replace the Windows SHELL with my own Launcher application.
Are there any good, working examples out there for how to do this. Its for a
Windows CE .NET device.
