I am having some difficulties in installing the Windows CE 5.0 evaluation software. I have just downloaded the setup.exe file (2,711KB) from MSDN website, after registering for Passport id. I have also recieved the serial-key for this software by e-mail.

I am writing an application that continuously stores data to hard disks. Over time disks develop bad sectors or blocks. Is there any way of scanning for these sectors and then marking them as bad/unusable in the FAT (using FATFS)?
