I am writing a device driver supporting Windows Mobile 5.0 device. I have encountered a problem which I suspect originates from the OS, however, I have not been able to find a way to receive any debug messages from the WM5 kernel.

If I go to SETTINGS >SYTEM>MEMORY>Running Programs, I can view a list of running applications on my Pocket PC. I can then choose to Activate, or STOP such an application. Is there a way to achieve this programatically.

I am developing a application which uses a serial driver. The driver loads and works correctly while KITL is enabled. The problem I now face is that when KITL is disabled the driver does not load correctly. The system hangs when it attempts to load the serial driver.
