I have found that on WINCE there is a very large overhead in calling a DLL from VB via a DECLARE statement. I have a simple DLL written in C++ to perform extensive computations that would be too slow in VB, but I wish to use VB for the front end.

Time and again it has been said that the would be no eVB runtimes for CE 5.0. One of my colleagues have tried to verify this by asking HP what would happen with their next series of PDA's based on CE5.0.
